It helps service providers and employers comply with the Equality Act 2010 and allows deaf and hard of hearing people freedom to move around buildings without the worry of missing an emergency situation.

Deaf and hard of hearing people staying in sleeping premises are at risk of not hearing the fire alarm. Deafgard X is a moveable device which can be placed at the user's bedside and is activated by System X when the fire alarm sounds.
